What if I receive damaged items or if an item is missing?

Categories: Damaged or Defective Items Delivery

If any cabinet, accessory, or other product is damaged, missing, or incorrect, please notify The RTA Shop as soon as possible and provide clear photographs and supporting documentation.

For visible freight damage or shortages discovered at delivery, the damage or missing items should be noted on the carrier’s Bill of Lading (BOL) or delivery receipt before signing.

  • Take clear photographs of the damaged product and packaging.
  • For missing items, identify the specific cabinet, accessory, carton, or component that was not received.
  • Keep all packaging and damaged materials until the claim has been reviewed and resolved.
  • Do not assemble, install, cut, drill, modify, or discard a damaged or questionable item before the claim is documented whenever practical.

Concealed damage discovered after delivery should be photographed before assembly or installation and reported promptly.

Claims for missing, damaged, or incorrect products must be submitted to The RTA Shop within 15 calendar days of receiving the goods, together with photographs and any other documentation reasonably required to process the claim.

Replacement and claim procedures may vary by manufacturer, distributor, and carrier. The RTA Shop will work with the applicable supplier or carrier to review the claim and determine the appropriate resolution.
